Titanic’s Dogs Lost and Found by Helene Levene is a children’s book about a night in history that most children and adults recognize. Here the author recounts the fate of the dogs traveling on the Titanic with their masters. There were many dogs on the Titanic and every day, the dogs were walked around the ship. Unfortunately, the informal dog show planned for Monday, April 15, never happened because disaster struck the ocean liner sinking it within hours of striking an iceberg. This children’s book is an enjoyable story that combines both fact and fiction, giving readers a different insight into history
