No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.

Additional Information

There have been a few questions concerning the RFQ. The following answers are provided for clarification:

Q1. How much work is expected for County Surveyor?

A1. Work will vary, but the existing average weekly workload is approximately 6 hours.  Some weeks there is no work; other weeks have a bit more than 6 hours of work.

Q2. Does the County intend to award both contracts to one firm?

A2. No, the County intends to award two separate contracts to two different firms.  This way the selected On-Call consultant will not be expected to check their own record of surveys as the County Surveyor.

Q3. Can you please clarify the deadline for proposal submittal?

A3.  Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 5:00PM
