Request for Qualifications
The Trinity County Department of Transportation (TCDOT) will accept Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from Civil Engineering firms to establish a five-year list of qualified firms to perform various Design and Environmental Services for future bridge projects. Four to seven selected consultant teams would be placed on a qualified list, making them eligible to be selected for future projects at various locations throughout Trinity County, by a subsequent RFP process.
Anticipated services include Feasibility Studies to determine cost effectiveness of replacement vs. rehabilitation; Peer Reviews and Design Constructability Reviews; and Preliminary Engineering, Environmental Studies, Plans, Specifications and Estimates and Construction Support for bridge maintenance, repair, rehabilitation and replacement projects, including alteration or rehabilitation of approach roads. Most projects will be funded by the Federal Highway Bridge Program and administered by Caltrans Local Assistance.
