Building Division

Business Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday (Fridays only by appointment)

The Building Division is unable to provide change for cash transactions. We will be able to accept personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders,credit cards and exact cash transactions.

Building Inspections are done 8:00am to 3:00 pm daily:

Call for inspection: 530-623-4890 and leave a message with your building permit number, requested date, type of inspection, name, and address. To be placed on the same day schedule, a message must be left before 8:00 AM.

Inspections are performed in the areas listed on the following days:

Monday - Local, Trinity Center, Coffee Creek, Lewiston, Poker Bar, Deerlick Sprinks, Hayfork, Hyampom, Wildwood

Tuesday - Local Douglas City

Wednesday - Local, Junction City, Del Loma, Hawkins Bar, Burnt Ranch, Salyer, Denny, Big Bar

Thursday - Local, Trinity Center, Coffee Creek, Lewiston, Poker Bar, Deerlick Sprinks, Hayfork, Hyampom, Wildwood

Friday - Local, Ruth, Zenia, Mad River, Van Duzen, Kettenpom, Hettenshaw

Please make sure when submitting plans to have the following documents: Building permit application, 3 sets of Building Plans and 3 Site maps showing setbacks to property lines and other structures
