- Please call (530) 623-1215 for information regarding Out-of-Hospital Birth Registration - An appointment is required for registration
- Issuing certified copies of Birth Certificates
- Issuing certified copies of Death Certificates
- Filing Fictitious Business Name Statements
- Records/Files authorized documents & maps
- Collects transfer tax and other fees
- Issues exact copies of recorded documents
The Clerk/Recorder Does NOT:
- Notarize Documents
- Give legal advice regarding documents
- Assist in completing documents
- Verify the accuracy of documents
