County Administrative Office





As a precautionary measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (the coronavirus) the Trinity County Administrative Office will be closed for walk-in services.  This temporary closure is effective March 19, 2020 and expected to continue until the COVID-19 social distancing recommendations are lifted.


Staff is still available to provide services to you via phone, fax, and email.  Should you need assistance, we can be reached using one of the methods listed at the bottom of this page.

The County Administrative Officer is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. This office recommends and manages the county budget, facilitates the implementation of policies for the Board of Supervisors, analyzes issues and makes recommendations to the Board, represents the county in intergovernmental relationships, coordinates the work of all county departments, and coordinates the overall administration of county government. The County Administrative Officer also serves as the Personnel Director, Purchasing Officer and provides direct supervision to the following divisions: Grants and Housing Loan Rehabilitation, General Services, Information Technology, Libraries, Personnel, Risk Management, and Veteran’s Services.
